We arrived at the farm in Eaton last night after an uneventful drive from PA. Grammy cooked us a wonderful meal for dinner, then after a glass of wine, it was off to bed!
This morning we drove to Dayton, OH where her Great Grandmother Dorothy Miller had invited us and other family members for an Eleanor meet and greet. We were the first to arrive, and Eleanor first met "G.G." She was instantly full of smiles for her Great Grandmother, and sank happily into her arms.
After a quick feeding, her Great Aunt and Uncle Murr, Great Great Aunt and Uncle Rankin and her First Cousin Once-Removed Julie arrived. We spent the afternoon in a blur of picture taking, holding, rocking and feeding. Eleanor was kissed, cuddled and cajoled into a mixed state of rapture and overstimulation.

By 4 p.m. it was time to go and we bundled Eleanor into her car seat where she gave G.G. a lengthy goodbye of gurgles and smiles.
One happy afternoon!
When Eleanor arrived back at the farm, she posed for a quick photo opportunity outside by the barn with Grammy and PaPa, then she was off for a BIG nap after all the excitement.

Tomorrow at the crack of dawn we leave for a 7.5 hour drive to Monroe, WI! I hope Eleanor sleeps well tonight.
