Eleanor's Baptism 9-6-09

Asleep after the ceremony

Eleanor was baptized during First Presbyterian's Sunday service today! In attendance were Grandma Bennett, Papa and Grammy Beck, and Uncle Andrew. Eleanor did not cry even when the pastor placed water on her fuzzy little head. She was calm the entire time and looked around with interest at the congregation.

Eleanor wore her Great, Great Grandmother Julia Johnson Erickson's crocheted christening gown for the service and then changed into her Great Aunt Chris' fluffy gown for the reception after church. Both looked very pretty!
