"Hike," says Eleanor.
Clarkson's fall break was over this past weekend. We decided to take advantage of our remaining fall days and see some sights. First we went on a short hike on Higgley Flow, and then we embarked on a trip down to see some of our very best friends, Sarah and Andy in Montague, MA.
The most precious back pack contents.

Hi from MassMOCA!
"Art," says Eleanor
Eleanor's skinny jeans go into overdrive
Taking time to appreciate the stark minimal beauty of the MassMOCA restroom.
Eleanor assumes she's at another art museum, but no! Sarah and Andy's house is just that beautiful.
Sleek Danish modern chair meets cheeky chunky sweetie.
At the Clark Institute, Eleanor marvels at the human chandelier
We saw SO many of Mommy's favorite painters. . .Bouguereau, Sargent, Cassat, Manet, Bonnard, Alma Tadema. We even saw some nice Remingtons.
Eleanor says (just like Rachel), "SCULPTURE."
We decided to join the conversation in Juan Munoz's 'happy room.'
Then, we went to an art museum just for Eleanor: The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art! Sarah really got into the work.

Eleanor and her assistant consider their next move.
Sarah and Andy brought us to their farm share fields. We got to eat LOTS of cherry tomatoes right off the vine. Eleanor probably had over 50 in one afternoon. No joke.
At the hotel, Eleanor found time for a little workout.
On the way home, Eleanor took a shopping pitstop at the Mall in Burlington (don't worry, Eleanor only wears faux bunny).

Silly time with mom on the car ferry
