Summer Catch-Up (Our biggest Blog Entry Ever!)

Eleanor has been very busy! I've been busy too and consequently ran behind on the blog. Here is the latest and greatest from our summer travels to Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Eleanor spent entire days running around camp Arcadia's campus

And we're in Minneapolis!

Gratuitous baby-head shot

Grandpa, daddy, Eleanor and Grandma

Too cute

Eleanor visited 4 zoos while we were in Minnesota and Wisconsin. This is the Como Zoo. When we asked Eleanor what she saw at the zoo she said, "Animals."

So happy together

This baby is no wall flower!

Such a flirt

"Joose"

"One more"

Eleanor and I visited Daddy at his residency at Pine Needles cabin near Stillwater. Since Daddy had the cats with him, this was as much as a reunion for Eleanor and Mona as it was for Eleanor and Daddy.

All decked out for Dad.

We got to see Great Aunts Chris and Marilynn 4 times during our visit!

We visited my best friend Nickie and her little boy Luke in Duluth. They took us to the Duluth zoo! Eleanor said on the way home. "Boy," "zoo," "animals," "Uke" over and over. I think he made an impression.

More pictures with Daddy in Stillwater. She's riding in a choo, choo, choo, and you can come too, too, too.

It's Teddy Bear Park!

My dream come true! And they're wearing matching pale purple outfits (totally unplanned).

Eleanor celebrates the 4th in Minneapolis

Eleanor and Grandma played lots of music together

We visted Wilderness Walk in Hayward, WI. Aunt Molly flew all the way from London to share the experience.

Baby deer, goats, bears, baby racoons, buffalo, a camel. . . you name it, they had it!

Eleanor finds a babydoll almost as big as she is in Hayward

Kissy face

Eleanor feeds the trout with Auntie Molly

We saw some spectacular contemporary art at the Walker in Minneapolis

Eleanor listens in.

After several library visits, Eleanor and Grandma settle in for some good books.

We visited our great friends Josh, Ann, Zander and new baby Adeline!

Mom's other best friend Caitlin met up with us in North East!

Eleanor, what is your name? "Eleanor." And what is your last name? "Beck" and how old are you? "One." (holds up finger).

16 mo. of cute.

On our way home we met up with Tate, Rachel and baby kai in Madison

We had dinner in a trolley at the Spaghetti Factory in Minneapolis and enjoyed eating with Jen, Sumner and little Maggie.

We had a great time at the Spring Brooke Nature Center in Blaine, MN with the Gerards (aka Lukie's parents)

Always a lady, even when in space.

"Lukie, do you know how to drive this thing?"

Whew! Some of the pictures are out of order, but I hope you get at least of an idea of how fabulous Eleanor's summer turned out to be.
