Early Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa!

Eleanor was the whole cheese.

This past week Eleanor's Grandma and Grandpa came for an early Christmas celebration. And guess what else? Santa visited early too! He filled Eleanor's beautiful new stocking full of toys. What she didn't get from Santa, she got from Grandma and Grandma, great aunts Chris, Marilynn, Julie and Great Uncle David. What a happy Christmas so far, and we've still got another Christmas to go!

Lunch at Clarkson's new student center.

Grandma made Eleanor her very own Christmas stocking. It features beautiful cross stitch- Thank you Grandma!

Eleanor hits the arcade at the Massena mall

 Enjoying her pink cupcake at Common Grounds in Massena. No, she did not take her nap that day, thank you Grandma! (;

While Daddy and Grandpa hiked, Eleanor, Grandma and mommy checked out Lake Placid. Eleanor met Santa for her second time, and again, asked him for toys.

Ladies who lunch!

Our server was quite taken with Eleanor and brought her THIS. No, she did not nap well this day either.

A little princess (and she really was)

Our early Christmas morning. Eleanor multitasks by eating her 'bread snacks' and unloading her Christmas stocking at the same time. We went with Daddy's tradition of opening gifts in the wee hours of the morning. That's why there aren't many pictures of the rest up us- we didn't look too great at 7 a.m. (:

Eleanor polishes up for more presents and a photoshoot.

Eleanor's new sleep sounds Lamby from Grandpa. She loves him.

Aunt Chris hit the nail on the head with this bib!

Eleanor received many beautiful books from her great aunts. This was mommy's favorite.

 Final dinner at Sergi's

Here our our formal early Christmas pictures.....

 Happy on Grandma's lap.

Eleanor was surrounded by love and attention!

But she still found time to chat with Elmo.

Oh! And we can't forget her latest ensemble from Great Aunt Julie...

Too cool for Potsdam.

See you in Ohio!

Eleanor meets Santa Claus

And she requested, "toys," and didn't even cry. After she was rescued from his lap, she even ventured a smile and a wave as she accepted her very first candy cane.

Happy Birthday Post

Eleanor is proud to say that she can put her socks on her hands.

Eleanor wanted to wish Grammy and Uncle Paul Happy Birthday! We're a little late in doing so, but we hope the following pictures of Eleanor eating snow will make up for it.

Daddy introduces Eleanor to her first taste of freshly fallen snow.

'Well, this is rather good,' thinks Eleanor.

 Eleanor eats more snow.

Eleanor didn't want to walk in the snow or play with it, she just wanted to eat it.

Eleanor ate snow until it was time to come in.

 Eleanor flirts with the camera.

Eleanor's First Haircut

 Before

Eleanor's hair was growing and growing, everywhere but the sides of her head. She had an impressive baby mullet, so we decided to give her a new 'do.' Mommy cut her hair while daddy watched and fretted. All went well except that it got a little shorter than we intended...

During

And during... And how did we get a toddler to stay still...? ELMO DVD!

After

 She's warming up to it!

Eleanor loves her new hair, and decided to paint about it.

 "Art," says Eleanor.

The Big Party

Things got really wild last night for Daddy's birthday party. We ate popcorn and watched Toy Story 3 with crazy hats on our heads. THEN, we ate dinner while we watched the movie, and we even had CAKE! Then we all ran around throwing balloons way past bedtime. Eleanor will be talking about this one for a long time.

Eleanor and I made the hats and placemats just for Daddy!

And we had BALLOOOONS (have we mentioned that??)!

Eleanor helps open gifts (fashionably dressed as Woody)

 Eleanor gave daddy "art."

CAKE! Eleanor ate all the frosting off of her piece and didn't touch the cake.

'Heavenly' thinks Eleanor... Both Daddy and Eleanor were in a state of Nirvana by the end of the night.

. Last night as she was going to bed we talked about the day to come. She asked "Dvd? Cake? Popcorn?"
